| Company History |
| M&L Supply has been family owned and operated for three generations. When T.N. Maxwell started a new plumbing and heating supply company in 1934, in Butte, MT, he understood the advantages of commitment, sincere customer service practices, and value- a philosophy that has been part of M&L Supply for over 80 years. Originating as Northwest States Supply Company in Butte, MT, the company quickly branched out to Great Falls, MT, in 1936, Spokane, WA, in 1941, and Pasco, WA, in 1942. The name of the company was changed to M&L Supply in 1953 when T.N. Maxwell & Roy Linnell, both employees of NSS Co., purchased the business. Company headquarters were moved from Butte to Spokane in 1976 where the Maxwell family continued to grow the business into what it is today- a financially strong, local, independent company with more than 50,000 square feet of warehouse space, employing more than 30 people to serve the Northwest's plumbing and heating trade. |
